PallyPay respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices available to you when using PallyPay.
PallyPay is a social payment and professional network built for the Pi ecosystem.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use PallyPay, we may collect:
- Account information such as your email address and PallyTag.
- Profile information that you choose to provide.
- Professional profile and offering information.
- Wallet addresses required to facilitate supported payment interactions.
- Transaction and payment activity within PallyPay.
- Pally activity and related ledger records.
- Information about how you use and interact with PallyPay.
- Device and technical information required to maintain security, prevent abuse and operate the service.
We only collect information that is reasonably necessary to provide, secure and improve PallyPay.
Wallet Security
Security Priority
PallyPay does not request, collect or store your Pi Wallet private keys, wallet passphrases or other credentials that give direct control over your wallet.
Never share your Pi Wallet passphrase or private keys with PallyPay or anyone claiming to represent PallyPay.
Public and Transaction Information
- Your PallyTag may be displayed publicly as part of your PallyPay identity.
- Certain information may be visible to other users depending on the feature you use, your privacy settings and the nature of the transaction.
- Information required to process or record a transaction may be shared with the relevant transaction participants.
Pally
Pally is an internal Beta payment balance used within supported PallyPay experiences.
Pally activity may be recorded in the PallyPay ledger so that transactions can be properly tracked, verified and reconciled.
Pally is not the same as Pi and should not be represented as Pi.
Blockchain Information
Where a transaction is completed on the Pi blockchain, the relevant blockchain transaction information is recorded on the Pi Mainnet and may be publicly visible through the blockchain.
Blockchain records are generally permanent and cannot be removed by PallyPay.
PallyPay does not control the Pi blockchain.
How We Use Information
We may use collected information to:
- Provide PallyPay services.
- Process and record supported transactions.
- Maintain account and wallet integrity.
- Prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorized activity.
- Provide Professional and Discovery features.
- Improve PallyPay and its user experience.
- Communicate important service information.
- Meet applicable legal and security requirements.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, comply with applicable obligations and maintain appropriate transaction records.
Some information may need to be retained even after an account is deleted, particularly information required for security, legal, accounting or transaction-record purposes.
Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your PallyPay account through the available account controls or by contacting PallyPay support.
Deletion may not remove information that we are required or permitted to retain, including certain transaction, security or legal records.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on the feature and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or otherwise control certain personal information.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as PallyPay evolves. Updated versions will be published through PallyPay with a new effective or updated date.
